Mô Tả Công Việc

* Role
The Design Review (DR) Engineer does review drawings and calculation notes to ensure the design complies with the project specifications, the relevant standards and the country laws and regulations; prepares design review reports based on approved project documents; reports directly to appoint DR Team Leader / DR Manager as appropriate.

* Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities
1 General Responsibilities:
• Performs design review for projects to be assigned;
• Assist when possible in sale activities, including expansion of the market and technical presentation;
• Can be in charge of design review in one or several fields according to his knowledge and experience.

2 Main Duties:
• Receive and make a detail plan with specific milestone for the project which is assigned by Manager/Deputy Manager/Design Review Team Leader;
• Review the design documents: basis of design, calculation note, reports of field tests, design drawings, specifications…to make sure that these documents are in line with the applied code and standards and scope of works specified in the contract of the project;
• To be responsible for writing design review reports and signing these reports to officially issue. For these matters, he shall use the appropriate tools like AVISO and BV NET. He liaises with CTC Assistant as appropriate;
• Sign and issue the design drawings which are reviewed and approved as in the design review reports;
• Attends the meetings related to the projects he is in charge of, if requested;
• Attend the weekly and monthly meetings for reporting and reviewing the progress of implementation of projects;
• Attend the urgent meetings related to design review if requested Manager/Deputy Manager/Design Review Manager;
• After the completion of a project, fill in the forms prepared by Design Review Manager with comments, lessons and difficulties during design review;
• Estimate the necessary man-day for projects DR, in order to provide an accurate quotation, when requested by Design Review Manager;
• Ready to perform the site supervision in free time when requested by Manager/Deputy Manager, and in accordance with his capabilities;
• Self-assess the working performance at the end of a year in accordance with forms prepared by HR Department as preparation for PMP;
• Find opportunities to develop BV services;
• Maintains a proactive behaviour in order to provide the client and Project Manager with fast and reliable answers to technical issues, to ensure the Client’s satisfaction after every project;

• Shares his own skills and knowledge with his colleagues;
• Contributes to the coaching of new comers;
• Is able to assess his own lacks of skills and knowledge and to ask for relevant training;
• Is able to make a good use of what has been learnt.

3 Reporting & Others:
• Liaise with CTC Assistant or Project Assistant as appropriate for documents and Design Review Report;
• Liaise with Project Manager as appropriate for any other technical assistance;
• Prepare Design Review Report for submission to CTC Dept. Manager, DR Manager and for approval, and oversees their filing in the project folder.
