Mô Tả Công Việc

• Establish client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies
• Attend onsite and consultants’ meetings and liaise with clients, architects and associate consultants in the administration of projects
• Interpret architectural or engineering drawings and specifications to prepare project costs
• Prepare various main building contracts, piling contracts, tender documents, cost estimation, submission of Variation to clients and nominated sub-contracts for tender and contract formalization
• Measure and take off quantities for Structural, Architectural and M&E work elements
• Administer pre and post contract, process claims, contractual payment and consultancy work
• Value engineering mindset
• Familiar with SIA and REDAS Form of contract Administration
• Familiar with SOP Act Administration
• Variation Order Settlement with client and sub-contractor

CIVIL & STRUCTURAL
• Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
• Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly
• Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
• Measure and value the work done on site
• Pay subcontractors
• Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers
• Select and/or source construction materials
• Write reports
• Specialist cost management/quantity surveying consultancies working within the construction industry
• Construction and engineering companies (consultants and contractors)
• Property firms and property developers
• Architectural practices
• Infrastructure and utility companies, eg Network Rail and Scottish Water
• Public sector organizations

MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL
• The individual will be an integral part of a team that is accountable for the commercial and contractual performance of a project
• To support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances
• To carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures
• Comply with established commercial/procurement/ contractual strategies
• Take personal responsibility for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards
• Individually or as part of a team operate processes for the selection, appointment and management of construction and engineering contractors
• Cost Planning
• Procurement
• Post Contract Quantity Surveying
• Promote commercial awareness throughout project
• Support formal dispute resolution process and contract close out strategy as required
• Advising and liaising with internal project and cost control team
• Developing Commercial Strategies
• Developing Acquisition Strategies

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

• Bachelor degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of QS experience in a consultancy environment
• Fresh graduate with interest in pursuing a cost management career can be considered
• Good knowledge of construction laws and regulations in Vietnam
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and work well in a team
• Organized and able to handle stress
