Mô Tả Công Việc

Purpose
With a focus to optimise the project margin the CCM is responsible for the overall cost control, change control and payments for the project as well as clear and accurate reporting to enable correct decisions by the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities
Includes but not limited to the following:
• Implement cost accounting processes and procedures for projects, ensuring processes are being properly followed
• Implement and monitor Quantities control and Invoicing and related documents
• Management of change control system incl. Preparation of Variation Orders (VO) and Price adjustment calculation
• Provides detailed Costs analysis
• Review all accounting reports and budgets, providing strategic analysis of figures, and taking remedial action to address any inconsistencies in reconciliations or reports
• Track and monitor cost expense for accuracy, ensure monthly accruals are properly adjusted to properly reflect business requirements
• Ensure compliance with statutory authority and audit requirements, ensuring taxation and legislative requirements for business compliance are maintained at all times
• Prepare for and receive audits related to Quantities and Cost control
• Identify and quantify cost in consultation with Project Manager
• Advice Project Manager of changes in forecast that could impact approved project expenditures
• Interact with other departments to ensure timely submission/gathering of information
• Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor from time to time
• Protect the company from commercial risk

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

• Bachelor Degree or higher
• A minimum of 10 years working experience in which 5 years in a similar role within a multinational construction company/ projects
• Excellent analytical skills with a high level attention to detail in order to review and critically analyse reporting and identify/correct discrepancies
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to be hands-on in training staff on business accounting principles
• Excellent working knowledge of business accounting principles and business compliance
• Excellent knowledge of accounting software applications
• Good command of English
• Understanding of the Project Management process
• Technical understanding of the engineering work involved
• Prior experience in analysing and performing variance analysis between actual and budgeted costs
• Experience in using project cost control software (eg. 7Cost, 4CastPlus, EcoSys)
