ABOUT THE JOB
Perfetti Van Melle - one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of confectionery and chewing gum with global brands that are being enjoyed in more than 150 countries worldwide - is seeking for a passionate and enthusiastic Channel Development Manager

WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will be responsible for:

1.Lead trade plan for channel:
• Build account/channel activities trade plans to deliver brand/company objectives.
• Manage trade spend, tracking and measure effective spending for channel
• Work with field sales team for excellent operation, ensure new launch, focus agenda well executed.
• Translate shopper/customer insights into business opportunities within specific customer/region.
• Be able to definite issue/opportunities of top key account, matching with brand objectives with customer needs to drive business growth.

2. Work out monthly rolling tasks for total channels:
• Prepare promotion volume with trade spend attention to market performance, brand focus.
• Prepare input for forecast, plan to cover gap/opportunity with speed.
• Prepare selling story with key stakeholders and/or customer to win in key events

3. Co-work with marketing team in launch/ re-launch and consumer promotion activities:
• Provide input for marketing to build budget, scheme and communication plans
• Allocate promotion volume to region/customers
• Work out the brief for BTL agencies and sales team
• In charge of in-store POSM design, briefing POSM for production and installation in store

4. Develop and execute all trade promotions:
• Develop scheme proposal and execution
• Lead and align the communication to internal and external stakeholders on the scheme
• Manage POSM production gift sourcing and ensure network delivered OTIF
• Conduct ROI and post-promotion evaluation

5. Drive compliance among the team

6. Any other tasks as assigned by line managers

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
We need you to have:

1. Key Skills:
• Analytical Skills are key for this role
• Managing interfaces with Marketing & Sales accountability is a fundamental standard of leadership for the job.
• Must have the ability to tackle complex situations, evaluate alternative courses of action, and provide fact based solutions/recommendations
• Must be skilled in verbal and written communications
• Must be able to effectively relate with multiple levels of management, both internally and externally

2. Relevant Experience:
• Undergraduate degree required
• Proven Business experience with a key customer is a must
• Trade Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Category Management experiences are a plus.
